Dancing Time!
today is wednesday. a few days more and i'll be making my grand debut on the stage...and the occasion? Sykes's Annual Christmas Party.i know. i've asked myself the same question. What in the name of Merlin were I thinking joining a dance contest! one, which in fact, will be attended by almost all the employees of our company.
well, i never did find the exact reason for my joining the said contest. all i know is that i've always had a passion for dancing and hey, i've won in the past although i was like younger and thinner at that time lol
anyways, our group practise everyday but we haven't perfected the dance steps yet. the moves are fast and so is the music. i'm quite positive though that we would be able to pull our acts together in time for the party.
honestly, i'm getting cold feet about the event. as the big day draws nearer, the more i want to just evaporate and vanish into thin air. how i wish i could hehe.
i'm sure that a lot of people who know me (but not that well hehe) would be so surprised when they see me strutting on the stage and doing my fancy moves (yeah right! hehe).
i think it's about time i introduce them to another side of me. i'm tired of having the identity of a loner, quiet type of person. that's a far cry from the real me. they just don't know how much of a chatterbox i really am hehe.
oh right...it's almost time to go home. i haven't had a decent sleep in the past couple of days. i'm so eager to go home and just sleep myself to death...er, not really to death because i still have a dance contest i need to attend to this weekend lol
