Puerto Galera...here we come!

finally, i was able to go out of town and spend the weekend in Puerto Galera!

it was my first time to go there and the experience just so overwhelmed me

the trip to White Beach was sooo long. what with the almost three-hour bus ride to the port and the boat ride for another one hour and so. but then, the view just made me more excited that i didn't mind it anymore. i had a hard time sleeping while on the bus which surprised me because i just got off from work and i haven't had any sleep i guess it's just adrenaline working for me

after what seemed like eternity, we finally arrived at White Beach. it was a great place with lots of people too. i looked at the waters and it's like it's hypnotizing me to just run and jump in thank God i did not do this. you see, i don't even know how to swim!

anyways, after i've gathered my senses, i joined my other friends who have been there since friday. we had a quick lunch after depositing our things in our room. i also enjoyed looking at the souvenirs and the people along the way. Wow! i've never seen too many people and they all seem to be having the best time of their lives. now i can't wait to change in to my 2-pc swimsuit and blend in with the crowd

even if i don't swim, i also enjoyed just floating and being with my friends. we also had the chance to go banana boating. we had to wait a long time for our turn but it was so worth it! i almost passed up the chance to try this because i got so scared when i saw the boat capsize in the end, my daring spirit won and i enjoyed the boat ride so much my voice was so hoarse when we were through with it.

this was also a night of catching up with everyone's lives. I haven't been with the Mean Girls for a long time so it was a reunion of sorts

we just watched the stars while listening to stories with the splash of the waves as a background. it was truly a night to remember. i can't help but feel melancholic given the background and all. sigh. the ambience would be a perfect setting for a romantic getaway. i hope to bring someone special here one day.

well, some good things never last. we had to leave the next day. i just hope i could return there and spend maybe a week or so. that would be expensive though anyways, i had a blast!

off to the next destination
