Watermelon Junkie
We went to the grocery earlier to buy our supplies and I went home happy because we bought a whole watermelon and it was only 40php! Well, I'm not sure if you can call this cheap but it's big, but not so big, and most of all it was really sweet! :D
Almost half of it we already ate so I told Pom if we could go back later when my shift is done and perhaps buy 2 more LOL I just love watermelon and as I mentioned in my previous post, I'm really craving for it everyday :D

Pinchy and the Muffins
I used to think that baking is difficult and that I would rather buy and eat bread, cakes, cookies, etc. rather than bake them myself. It looked a laborious thing to do and you have to be exact in all measurements.
But then, I tried my hand at baking just October of last year. I started with brownies, cookies and then I summoned all courage to tackle on baking a chocolate cake. It turned out pretty well :) After that, I gave away oatmeal choco chips and macaroons to the guests who partied with us during Pinchy's 1st bday. Ever since, I would bake on a whim. I'd wake up early to bake banana bread and then I also made churros con chocolate :D Now that I think about it, I have baked a lot during these past months.
Now that Pinchy is almost 1yr and a half, he likes to munch on my bakies. He eats cookies and muffins. Just last May 24, I baked oreo muffins and he liked it a lot! I even baked miniature ones for him LOL
Today, my hubby has been bugging me to bake biscuits and he said he'd put gravy. I'm going to check my baking supplies and we'll see if I can bake those today :) But I'm thinking of baking brownies and then eating them ala mode. Yummy!

For those who don't know yet, I have another blog that I have been working on. It's at
http://ronaweasley.blogspot.com I created it just last May and so far I already have three posts LOL. I created the blog because I am hoping to submit it for approval for a blog to post gig. Most of the sites prefer English content so I am going to try and write my thoughts in English. This isn't really a problem for me but the thing is there are a lot of Pinoy terms that don't have equivalents in English aside from the fact that it's so Pinoy to write it in the vernacular hahaha!
Anyways, I'll have to let the blog reach its 3rd month before I can submit it for approval. I heard about this from a close friend and kumare so I am going to try my hand on it. Besides, I can really use extra income and as long as I can do the work at home, I'll surely give it a go.

Our company summer mixer was a success despite the low turnout of participants. I think most of the employees were on shift so they were not able to attend. It was fun as usual and I was hoping to get the GC for 8 Waves resort but unfortunately my number was called early in the raffle and only won a beach towel. I was just a bit disappointed but still thankful for winning a towel. We now have something to use in case we decide to go swimming before the rainy season LOL
I forgot to bring my digicam so I only have 1 picture from the event which I am not going to post because I am fat! I have neckfolds and flab and waah! I am trying so hard to erase the image from my memory LOL

Pinchy's yaya left last Friday afternoon because she said she'll need to go to the province because it's her deceased son's bday. I allowed her to leave and she promised that she'll be back on Tuesday. But then I doubt it if she'll still return seeing as she already brought all of her things with her and didn't even ask for a cash advance which was her custom whenever she goes home to visit her family. Prior to that, she applied for NBI clearance so I think she is preparing to apply for another job. Oh well, she lasted for a total of 7mos and I can say that she wastrustworthy and really took great care of my son. I am thinking of texting her to ask if she'll still come back but I think I'll have to wait if she'll have the guts to tell the truth herself. I can't hold her back if she's hoping to look for a job that will pay higher than what I have given her. So this is back to sleepless nights as I'll have to work and take care of my son at the same time. I just hope my dermatitis won't think of a comeback too LOL

Bored
I don't have anything much to do today because it's my restday. Well, I can play PSP. I only play a few games like Virtua Tennis, Outrun, NSF, and Sims Castaway but I don't really feel like playing because my thumbs are sore LOL.
I'm looking around the house and saw my mags but I have read all of those. I'll go out later to buy Pinchy's water but for now, I'm sooo bored. I'm thinking of what else to do on this hot, Monday afternoon. I figured nothing much really so I guess I'll just run a cold bath and then resume my thinking when I've cleared my mind LOL

Here comes the rain again...
It's early May here and yet the rains have come. Usually it doesn't rain until June but I guess they can't wait to get it on LOL
Anyway, we went to Tita Scarlet's place yesterday amidst the rain and heavy traffic. She lives in Makati and it was almost a 2hr "journey" coming from Novaliches. Pom's Tita Aldine and her family visited from Australia and it has been ages since they last saw each other so went for a visit. We just had dinner and shared stories. Pom asked Tita Aldine if she can sponsor us in case we finally decide on migrating to Oz. She said of course and we are optimistic that we can plan for it in the months to come. Of course we have to save money and fix our papers and I don't even have a freaking passport yet LOL At least we have something to look forward to and we have to decide if this is really what we want.
We didn't stay long though because Jeremy was becoming antsy and sleepy. After a couple of hours, we headed for home. It was a tiring day and we all dozed off to sleep except Pom of course because he's the driver LOL
Tomorrow, we have our Mixer Party at the office. I'm sure it will be lots of fun! I'll post pics next.

Happy Mother's Day!
Happy Mother's Day to all Moms out there!
Being a Mom, I can say that this is the most rewarding task of all. Sure it can be tiring, demanding at times, but I've never felt more complete and fulfilled until Jeremy was born.
I can still remember the sleepless nights, of endless hele so that baby can sleep soundly. That time, I only get to sleep 3hrs every night but still I didn't lose weight hahaha! Anyways, those were the days. Time went by so fast and and my baby's now a big boy. He can no longer sleep in my or his dad's chest because he's heavy but once in a while he still sleeps on my tummy. That's his way of paglalambing :)
When Jeremy woke up this morning, I kissed him and taught him to say happy mother's day hahaha! I know he can't say these words yet but he rewarded me with the sweetest smile. But it was only fleeting because he then started to cry and that's my cue to give him his milk :)
Two years ago, I was living a different life. It was all about me, hanging out with my family and friends. But now, my life is centered to being a Mom and Wife. I hope I'm doing a great job. I just asked my hubby and he said I am :) Sweet!
To Mama, I'd like to thank you for everything you've done for me and my brothers. Life wasn't always easy for us but you saw to it that we got all the things we need. And now that I'm a mom myself, I understand more the sacrifices you made and it's weird because I sound like you more every day :D
Don't forget to greet your Moms today. I'm sure it will complete their day :)

Matabungkay outing
Good morning!
Finally, natuloy din beach namin! Yahoo! Umalis kami last Sat morning for our company outing in Al Fresco resort, Matabungkay strip. Medyo mahaba ang byahe pero it's worth it syempre. Enjoy naman kami ni Pinchy sa sightseeing.
Pagdating sa resort, kain muna kami tapos si baby, di na nakatiis. Hinila ko papuntang beach. As in di sya natakot sa buhangin or sa dagat. Sobrang happy nya habang nagtatampisaw at naka-salbabida pa. At everytime susubukan naming alisin sya sa dagat, iiyak hahaha! Feel na feel nya ang tubig. Siguro kala nya malaking planggana yun hahaha!
Pagkatapos mag-swim, nagbanlaw kami and freshen up. Play naman kami sa cabana. Natuwa ko kasi nakikita kong enjoy si Pinchy. Di nga sya inantok eh tsaka dumede. Gusto nya water and spaghetti na kinain namin for merienda.
Nung hapon na, palakad-lakad na lang kami sa pampang. Kuntento na kami na nababasa ang mga paa namin. Tapos syempre piktyuran. Tapos si Pinchy ni-shower ko na at nang makatulog at dede. Ayun, 730pm pa lang, knocked out na ang baby ko hehehe! Sarap ng sleep nya :)
Kami naman ni daddy, dun lang sa may labas nag-dinner. Buti sliding door dun sa room namin kaya kita namin si Pinchy from the outside. Kwentuhan lang tapos yung iba naming co-workers, nagiinuman at nagkukulitan.
Kinabukasan, syempre swimming kami ulit ni Daddy and Pinchy. Humirit pa talaga bago umuwi hehehe! Tapos kain and then piktyur ulit. Tapos nauna na kaming bumalik pa-Maynila. Layo pa kasi ng byahe. Tsaka dumaan pa kaming Bag of Beans para bumili ng shepherd's pie and empanada. Recommended kasi tong place na to and we wanted to try it for ourselves. Sarap naman food nila pero next time siguro mas masarap pag dun kumain. After this, diretso pa kami ng Pancake House para mag-lunch. Enjoy si Pinchy kasi pinahawak ko sya ng crayon hehehe. Kala mo marunong na eh noh?! Hehehe!
Overall, our weekend was a blast! Ang peaceful ng feeling ko. Nakakawala ng stress na marinig yung waves lang ng dagat habang nagpapahinga. Happy rin ako kasi Daddy and Pinchy were there to share the experience with me. First time namin yun ginawa kaya I'm looking forward to May at meron pa kaming isang outing. Yipeee! San kaya maganda, Subic or 8 Waves hehehe!
